Vila Luz is a lovely apart-hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Our apartment with a sea view was great. We had everything we needed: kitchen appliances, beach towels, everyday cleaning, and nice breakfast. Strongly recommend!

We spent eight wonderful vacation days at this magnificent hotel. With only 15 rooms, it always maintains a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Every morning, guests are treated to a rich breakfast buffet with both cold and hot dishes, various types of coffee, tea, and juice, as well as fresh bread and rolls. You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors, depending on your preference. After breakfast, a spacious green area with indoor and outdoor pools and sun loungers invites you to relax. The rooms are spacious, with large bathrooms, generous windows, and balconies or terraces with sea views. In the evening, there is the option to enjoy an excellent dinner. The hotel is extremely clean, always smells pleasant, plays soft music, and has a well-functioning air conditioning system. This eco-friendly retreat offers its guests a unique and responsible experience in harmony with nature. After an interesting conversation with the hotel owner, we also talked about mass tourism and environmental protection. He explained to us that the hotel takes significant measures in the area of nature and environmental protection. The commitment to environmental protection is evident in all aspects of hotel operations. From the use of renewable energy to efficient waste management, the hotel minimizes its ecological footprint: Solar energy: The hotel uses solar panels for water heating and electricity generation, significantly reducing dependence on non-renewable energy sources. Waste management: Strict waste management with recycling and composting programs is implemented. Guests are encouraged to participate in these sustainable practices. Water conservation: Efficient irrigation systems and the use of greywater for garden irrigation contribute to water conservation. Our conclusion: Hotel Vila Valverde is more than just a place to stay; it is an example of how luxury tourism and environmental protection can be harmoniously combined.

Everything, always a great host and location

The owners agent, Sofia, met us and handed over the keys after a detailed showing of the property and how everything worked. The kitchen is well equipped, the bath has a great shower and lots of hot water! Lots of natural light and ventilation. The adjacent restaurant is very good and serves a variety of dishes. A short walk to the beach and grocery stores.

Great location for exploring West Algarve. Super attentive owner - Fiona. Nice touch - a very good welcome folder with information about the resort, restaurants, local activities and suggestions for trips. Amazing, spacious and comfortable accommodation with free access to the most enormous outdoor heated pool (30m/15m) which was never busy right by our apartment. Free UK TV, very good wifi, comfortable beds (4 singles), super showers, a/c and heaters, bbq, terrace on either side, easy parking and equipped with absolutely everything you could need. Also10% off the two restaurants in the resort and free access to a large indoor heated pool/jacuzzi and gym. Also two padel and two tennis courts. We don't play golf but the course looked amazing. Cleaners came every day. We loved our stay. Less than 10 minutes from local beaches and our favourite trip was to Sagres (farmers market, amazing seafood restaurant - A Sagres, the Fort etc.). Enormous Intermarche supermarket just a few minutes drive away. Don't miss the fresh squeeze orange machine and 'Black pork'!
