Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of garden, Château de Mathod Chambres d'hôtes is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Mathod, 36 km from Palais de Beaulieu. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Everything. The photos on the app don’t give this place justice. Fabulously renovated rooms with nice amenities such as locally made soaps and such, a Nespresso machine, robes and slippers. There is a pool and the hosts make you feel at home.

All soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms offer views of the castle or the lake, and are equipped with cable TV and a safety deposit box. A very decent view of the lake, an incredible balcony, a cosy bed and endlessly delicious bread for breakfast, thank you very much, we liked the hotel and the staff!
