A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

The convenient location was our base for exploring the old streets filled with shops, stalls, restaurants, cafes, historical buildings, as well as new shopping malls across the main road. The friendly front counter lady gave suggestions on places to eat. We tried them and they were all great. The room was clean and comfortable. There’s ceiling heater to keep the shower area warm during winter.

The hotel is also decorated in a beautiful style, with flowers and plants everywhere. I like it very much. The hardware and software of the guest rooms are very good, the mattress is comfortable, the hardness is moderate, the bedding is clean and soft, the air conditioning and heating are sufficient, the bathroom is dry and wet, and the toilet is smart, which is quite awesome. The service is always responsive, so whenever you have free time, you can go to the boss for tea, which is very comfortable. In short, it has a high cost performance ratio and is highly recommended!

The Chongsheng Temple and the Three-Pagoda is located within 40 minutes' drive from the hotel. The nearest airport is Dali Airport, around 20 minutes' car journey from the property. Enjoyed the breakfast and tea time at 4pm. The rooms are quite big. Easily able to walk to the pier. The concierge was very helpful in booking boat tickets.
