The proprietors were super helpful—carrying our luggage up and down the steps, without asking giving me a soothing hot drink with lemon and honey for my cold. The breakfast area was so welcoming and everything was comfortable—the bed and the dining room seats.

The Residence at Lough Key - Luxury by the Water ligt op 11 km van Ballinfad Castle en 12 km van Bezoekerscentrum Sliabh an Iarainn, en heeft gratis WiFi en een terras. The property was immaculately clean and tidy, and many little extras were provided, including fresh milk and bread, as well as lots of books about the history of the surrounding area. The furniture was lovely and very comfortable, the sofa was huge, and the entire property had a quaint yet modern feel to it. Everything was beautifully considered and provided.

Probably best one we have rented out of 40 houses over the last 20 years in various countries. Well equipped. Hosts could not have been nicer or more helpful. The local village is fine and has everything you need. No reason to leave the house though. We were three generations staying in the house and everyone was happy (amazing!).

The size of the apartment was fantastic with spacious living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. Each bedroom had a walk in wardrobe, en-suite and extremely comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The huge windows at the front of the property give you the most beautiful view over the water. It is situated over the Riverside Restaurant, where we dined one evening. The food here was delicious.
