The hotel is partly located in a 600-year-old building, beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. The restaurant on site was a real highlight – the pizza was excellent, and the daily special, wild boar roast with vegetables, was simply amazing. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. Right in the heart of Bologna, Luxury Station Suite features rooms with free WiFi. This recently renovated guest house is located 600 metres from MAMbo and less than 1 km from Via dell' Indipendenza. The guest house has family rooms. It was clean, nice and the rooms are freshly renewed. Shower is of normal size, not small and cleaning lady comes everyday. The hotel is situated 2 mins from the central train station which is really convinient for those who travel to Florence or elsewhere afterwards. We had questions about opening of the doors, the manager answered at once even though it was Easter - thanks for all the help! The room is quiet, we didn't hear neighbours, maybe some sounds from the street but nothing too loud. The city center of Bologna is not so large, so it's not a long walk to the historical places (I enjoy walking, so it's not a problem at all). Next to the hotel there's a nice bar for those who need coffee first thing in the morning. There's also a paid luggage storage just next to the apartments, so you can leave luggage there when leaving.
