All the staff was phenomenal and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet, with the option to sit outside on the terrace with a view over the dead sea is great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilton, including our room with a balcony facing the dead sea and all the facilities in the resort.

Situated in Sowayma, 2 km from Bethany Beyond the Jordan, Russian Pilgrim Residence features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. 16 km from Allenby/King Hussein Bridge and 32 km from Mount Nebo, the property provides a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. This was an amazing experience, I honestly don’t know why everyone isn’t staying here. You get to be onsite overnight, in this beautiful and tranquil setting, and have access to the Jordan River, and watch the stars. I have never slept so well or so deeply. And we even had the resident cat, Ginger, giving us the grand tour, and come to get us for breakfast the next morning 😄 The manager was very kind, and arranged for a priest in the Catholic church next door to give us a tour of the baptism site the next day (we are catholic). This was amazing, and we got a full explanation of each part of the site, and we got to spend time at each part of the baptism site. (Usually, to visit during the day, tours are only 30mins to only the main baptism part). Irena cooked us the best vegetarian dinner, and then an excellent breakfast the next morning, and was so kind. There is also tea, coffee and as many biscuits as you can eat provided! I can’t recommend highly enough!!

Nestled on the shores of the iconic Dead Sea, the resort is just a short distance from attractions including Mount Nebo, The Baptism Site, Mujib Reserve and more. A very nice hotel with easy access to the Dead Sea and great dining options. The staff is exceptionally friendly, but what really stood out to me was their commitment to caring for the stray cats on the property. They provide food and water in a designated area and collaborate with a vet to vaccinate and neuter the cats, helping to manage the population. Kudos to the hotel for this thoughtful initiative!
