Very friendly and welcoming staff. We only regret that we happened to be in Beppu for only one night and it was the night of fire festival. Unfortunately, we missed the whole thing, because we had a dinner at the time of fire show. It’s just an another reason to visit Beppu again :)

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. The hospitality and all the attention from the staff was awesome. The food was excellent, exceeding our expectations. The room was very clean and the amenities were fabulous. The price of the drinks and goods was very fair.

There is also free afternoon tea, with decent snacks and drinks daily.
