One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The whole place is so we'll designed and laid out. Very impressive. Blends nature into the building very well. The staff are fantastic. So friendly. Unfortunately I can't remember the welcoming manager but he was such a nice man. Antony (manager in the restaurant is fantastic and does a great job in looking after you).The lift is a cool little novelty into the hotel. Gave us refreshments on arrival. We stayed here on our last 2 nights of our honeymoon, which the gave us a food platter and 2 free cocktails. Very kind of them. They even gave us a fair well gift. The hotel itself is stunning. Stunning views and facilities. Rooms are very spacious. The monkeys are everywhere so you just need to watch your stuff around the pool but great to watch while floating in the pool. Food is fantastic. I really can't fault this place. We stayed in some great hotels travelling around sri Lanka but coastline Marissa was level above them all. We actually met the hotel co owner who actually took time out to show us a cool boat tour just around the corner and chatted to us about the area and what to do. He is such a nice man and very welcoming. Highly recommend staying here is you had the chance.

En bovenal: geweldig zorgzaam en ontvankelijk personeel. Ze helpen je met alles. Zeker een aanrader, maar wel als je ruim in het budget zit!

La Playa Beach Club ligt in Hiriketiya, op een paar minuten lopen van Hiriketiya-strand, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. The hotel is beautiful inside and out with spacious, modern rooms, a huge comfortable bed and great A/C. The views on to the beach and Hiriketiya bay are some of the best we saw in Sri Lanka. The staff were so attentive and being hotel guests they reserve the best dinners at the beach club part. The breakfast was amazing and we also had lunch there which was delicious and reasonably priced.

Vis Ta Vie -Thema Collection is gelegen in Mirissa, op een paar minuten lopen van Kamburugamuwa Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren en een tuin. Uitzicht op de oceaan vanuit de kamer, mooi zwembad, het enorm vriendelijk personeel, het lekker eten (wij aten de visschotel s avonds met een tafeltje in het zand onder de palmbomen). Als je langs de heel drukke weg rijdt (wij reden zelf met tuktuk) dan kan je niet denken dat er zo n mooi hotel achter de poort ligt. Aanrader!

Spacious room with a king-size bed and a large bathroom. The TV included a dialog add-on that turned it into a smart TV. The price for these amenities was excellent.
