Food was good, I would recommend going for full board at least.

Pictures can't do the view justice - it is seriously amazing! Having breakfast on the roof deck was a highlight of our entire trip. The hosts were extremely kind and explained how to quickly walk into town and to the Ella Rock hike using the railroad tracks right behind the property. It was far enough from Ella town to be extremely peaceful, yet close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The room itself is quirky and has a lot of character, which we loved!

Featuring the luxurious comforts of a boutique hotel, 98 Acres Resort & Spa is set in Ella amidst a stunning landscape also known as the 98 acre tea estate. The location is ideal. The views from our room were breathtaking. Having coffee in the morning looking at Little Adam’s peak was perfect. They had the best shower of our entire Sri Lankan holiday. The pool club was a fun way to spend an afternoon.

The host was super nice and really helpful. He got out of his way to accommodate us! The place is lovely and you can see that they put a lot of work into it. We had a breakfast one morning, which was extremely delicious! We also got breakfast to go for our train ride early in the morning, when we left. The accommodation is a bit outside of Ella. So it’s really enjoyable if you don’t want to be in the buzz of it but enjoy some peaceful time. So all in all highly recommended!

We visited Sri Lanka for vacation and stayed one night at the Presidential Suite at Andriyala. I have stayed in many hotels, but this was by far the most beautiful hotel room I have ever seen in Sri Lanka. The suite was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning views. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Everything about our stay felt worth it ,from the comfort of the room to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. I highly recommend Andriyala to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Sri Lanka.

We arrived late afternoon and watched the sunset over the valley - just incredible. The old tea planter villa has been beautifully and authentically restored with comfort and sociability in mind. We didn’t read all the details but had taken the all inclusive option (which is advisable) which included all food and drinks. A cool gin and tonic on arrival really was the icing on the cake! We also opted for the cooking class which was great - we will see if we can reproduce anything as tasty!! The food was all delicious and the staff were attentive without being too much. Here you can keep yourself private but the layout in the lounge is such to allow you to converse with other guests which we really enjoyed. If you want to treat yourself - this is the place!

The location is quite remote but stunningly beautiful and peaceful. The gardens and grounds are well maintained and the view of the mountains change minute by minute due to the weather and clouds. The staff is ready to answer any question and provide anything you wish. Take a tour of the tea factory, it’s short but informative!
