One of the nicest riads I've stayed in. If you are in Ouarzazate or nearby, this is the place to stay. It's a 10 minute drive to the city, but the hotel can arrange taxi to the main places for pretty small fees (4-6 eur to the city). The riad looks wonderful. We loved the small garden at the entrance, the lobby, the rooms and the rooftop terrace - which offers a great view during the day. Food was delicious and dinner was cheaper - and better! - than in most restaurants we've been to. Staff is super helpful and they speak good english.

Such a shame I only had a 1 night stay booked! This is a place to relax and detach from the world. The rooms/bungalows are excellent, with nice bathrooms, comfy beds and very clean. Staff are excellent. Evening meals a delicious as is breakfast. The gardens and pool are amazing and you wake up in the morning to the sound of birds chirping, a true paradise. I will definitely return for a longer stay next time.

Personal touch: Mimoun rang us up before we arrived in Nkob to tell us he will be waiting for us at the bus station to take us to the hotel by foot. We were offered hospitality by being given tea served on the wonderful terrace where uninterrupted views of the picturesque parts of Nkob can be admired. The buiding: La perle de Saghro is a typical casbah house. It has a wealth of original features. The building is being restored in its past splendour in a traditional way. Our room was very comfortable and was very morrocan in traditional casbah style. The room was opening into a pretty coutyard stocked with plants and bushes.The ceiling was supported by palm tree beams. It was great to spend a night inside the casbah. The hotel was quiet, and the staff was responsive. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty. Knob has plenty of traditional architecture. People take pride in their culture and are happy to share information with strangers. Our only regret is not having prolonged our stay at this hotel.

A tent was spacious and clean with large and comfortable beds and food was delicious. We enjoyed quad and camel riding. Our 6 years old son enjoyed sand boarding and exploring the camp. Staff from the camp was so attentive and playful with children. I must say that I haven't visited a country before where the people are so welcoming, friendly and devoted to children. It’s a cool place if you don’t have time to see the big sand dunes in Erg Chegaga. The host are super friendly and that made the whole experience the best! Lovely tajine and some good coffee!
