Staff was extremely friendly and proactive. The hotel offers free bikes that you can rent to get around the city. Also, it is located just next to Mérida's most famous strip - Paseo Montejo - which hosts beautiful restaurants and cafes. The design and detail of the hotel are absolutely incredible!

We loved the tasteful decor, a fusion of beautiful antiques, mexican elements and art. We loved the excelent varied breakfarst, which was served on a long table, where we got to know and talk to other guests. In our room, we loved the shower, which had a big glass wall into a litlle closed leafy space. All this, and the friendly staff (gold star for the manager Alberto), the accesibility for questions, suggestions, recommendation and advice made our stay at the beautiful Merida very cosy and intimate.

The staff, without exception, were kind, friendly, helpful and efficient. They are truly an asset to the property. Excellent central location. Beautiful pool area with comfortable loungers. Lovely upper terrace with tables and chairs. Good breakfast, although the coffee could be improved. The previous hot water issue seems to have been resolved.

The decor of the place is amazing! The owner clearly put a lot of thought into it. The communal kitchen is awesome. We were able to store food we bought in the fridge. The bed is very large and comfortable.

Stunning resort - the site is extremely peaceful, with thoughtful reuse of historic details, and the villas feel very private. Bicycles and the early morning coffee are a lovely touch. Staff were more than attentive especially when it came to proactively finding out personal preferences, which were executed beautifully. Concierge superb.

Great location not far from the city centre; around 6-10 min drive. Property had secure underground parking. Rooms were large with decent sized beds. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. Would strongly recommend lunch/dinner and/or cocktails here! Make sure you make a reservation for breakfast, even if included in your stay.
