We had a beautiful stay at Hotel Aikawa. The facilities are new and clean. The restaurant overlooked the pretty rice fields and it was very close to the restaurants in Sauraha. We were impressed by the staff who were all very helpful and professional. When we where there they were celebrating that they had aquired another star for their rating and we were invited to the celebrations where we had really good Nepali food. Overall we had an excellent stay and it was well worth the price.

The property is located on the banks of the Rapti River, 32 km away from Bharatpur Domestic Airport and Narayan Ghat Bus Stand. The famous Chitwan National Park is 100 metres away. This one possibly the nicest overall experience we have ever had. We have travelled around the world and the level of service and attention to detail was amazing!! We felt so welcomed and the room and grounds were beautiful. The food was delicious, hats off to the chef!! Also being away from the primary entry to the park we had a great safari experience, even waking up to rhino across the river from our bungalow deck. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay!

Regenta resort has the most wonderful members of staff who looked after us throughout our stay. Compliments specifically to Prastha who greeted our arrival and arranged us a tremendous, flawless room with the most beautiful views down the himilayan range. The reception has lovely hand painted murals decorating each wall. Rajendra, who was a joy to meet and made every moment spent in the resort luxurious and memorable. We have to mention Hemraj who works tirelessly to ensure the swimming pool and surrounding area is kept flawless. We need to extend a massive thanks to the team for giving us an incredible time that we expect to never be beaten by anywhere else. The standards maintained by every staff member was impeccable. The resort boasted the most beautiful gardens with flowers in bloom, again maintained by a talented group of gardeners to perfection - like every other part of the facility. There are the worlds best masseuses on site who can perform a range of treatments to ease and relax you. Our future plans will incude a return to the resort which would be worth travelling all the way over from Scotland again, to enjoy the experience and to see each lovely member of staff again.

The resort provides pool views, a children's playground, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available. This has been an absolute dream in Chitwan! Located 25mins from Bharatpur, where the tourist bus dropped us off. We arrived to a cold towel and welcome drink (as we did after all of our excursions). Babu the manager was wonderful, explained everything to us, organised laundry, taxis and bus tickets. The lodge itself was stunning. Our lodge had a balcony facing into the jungle so we could sit in the chairs and watch birds fly around. The lodge was large, clean, well facilitated with two large bottles of drinking water everyday, a mini fridge, toiletries and air con (necessary!) The lodged are set in a beautiful complex with lots of trees, plants, a stunning pool and most importantly a river viewing deck. We saw crocodiles, gharials and deer every day from our deck. There were lizards, and an array of beautiful birds that we could see from the deck while eating our meals or enjoying a drink, and swimming in the pool with colourful birds flying overhead was fantastic. The food is exceptional, large portions and a reasonable price, a main cost between 500-1000 rupees. Tea and coffee are complimentary and can be ordered anytime. Our breakfast was included and delicious! The service is simply wonderful, all the staff speak amazing English and are so attentive, polite and friendly; they simply can't do enough for you and are happy to help with any problems or answer questions. Babu even spent extra time with us, helping us bird and croc spot from the deck. We went on three excursions, jeep safari, canoe trip and crocodile breeding centre. All were organised by the hotel with no stress. Babu and his team took us out and we saw lots of animals including: rhinos, hog deer, spotted deer, elephants, crocodiles, gharials, wild boar, peacocks, kingfishers, macaques and plenty of other birds that Babu pointed out to us. The hotel really made our holiday and we felt so special staying here.
