High-quality interior, very tasteful design. Gym is okay, but could use more treadmills. Great place for a peaceful stay.

Het Moracea by Khao Lak Resort biedt 5-sterrenaccommodatie aan het strand en ligt tegen de glooiende heuvel van Khao Lak. The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

I had breakfast at the Waterfront restaurant for the duration of my stay and it was first class service. Khun Pooh helped me feel very comfortable whilst traveling alone to the resort, all the staff knew my name and showed me around the buffet and the food was so fresh and locally grown so the vegetables had extra taste and there were many healthy options available, the fresh juices were equisite.

Het luxe 4-sterrenhotel Koh Yao Yai Village ligt in een regenwoud, op een steenworp afstand van de rustige oevers van de Yao Yai-eilanden. I unfortunately got a foot injury at the beginning of my stay. Staff were extremely helpful both in helping me to get to the clinic and after during the rest of my stay. Top marks!

Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas ligt in Ko Yao Yai, op 1,8 km van Laem Had Beach, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een buitenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. Wow, this place has ruined every other hotels/resorts for me - it was absolutely wonderful. I don't know how anywhere else could be better. The resort itself was stunning, perfectly maintained. Staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, so many options. Pool was great, room was great. We loved it.

Coconut Grove Resort ligt in Ko Yao Yai, in de regio Phang Nga Province, op een paar minuten lopen van Laem Had Beach. The perfect location feels like paradise. It is the best place to relax beside the crowd! Super friendly staff and delicious food in the restaurant directly on the beach.
