De Courtyard By Marriott Edinburgh West ligt in Edinburgh, op 500 meter van de Heriot-Watt University en op 7,2 km van het BT Murrayfield Stadium. Mooie, grote en schone kamer+ badkamer. Bedden zijn heerlijk, je wordt uitgerust wakker. Ontbijthoek is efficiënt ingericht, genoeg keuze van scrambled,fried eggs, verse croissants,koffiebroodjes,chocoladebroodjes,fruit,yoghurt,verse sappen,cruesli. Personeel is vriendelijk. Om de hoek bij het hotel zijn er diverse buslijnen, wij namen lijn 25 direct van en naar Princess Street omdat je vanaf daar de airlink 100 hebt richting de luchthaven. Het hotel ligt in een rustige buurt 40 min naar Princess Street. Het lijkt lang maar je bent er zo. Heel fijn verblijf gehad. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is het zeker waard. Als je een busticket koopt zou ik voor de family Day ticket gaan (2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen< 15 jaar) kost 10.50 Schotse pond (prijzen december'24). Voor onze oudste van 16 kochten we een aparte adult dayticket van 5 pond dus 15.50 in totaal. Je kan hiermee de hele dag met verschillende bussen reizen. Tram is een andere ticket.

Het Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh biedt accommodatie in Edinburgh, op een uitstekende locatie aan de voet van Calton Hill en op slechts 5 minuten wandelen van Princes Street. Super hotel. Perfect gelegen. Ontbijt was heel goed , voldoende keuze en als er iets op was werd het meteen aangevuld. Soms wel veel volk aan het ontbijt, maar dan werd er een tweede ruimte geopend. Super vriendelijk personeel. ‘s avonds ook 1 keer gaan eten. Heel lekker.

Experience the stunning upgrade of our hotel! The refurbishment of our welcoming, contemporary public spaces is now complete and our upgraded leisure club now features brand-new fitness equipment. We’ve stayed in the Marriott, Glasgow a number of times . The refurbishment has been excellent and really improved the hotel. We arrived in time for a light lunch. Lunch was beautifully presented and the staff were very attentive. Check in was quick. Our room was large with a sofa and view from the front of the hotel. Unfortunately, the room was very cold & the heating system only blew out cold air. Room lights didn’t work either.🤷‍♀️A quick visit to reception and a maintenance engineer appeared within 10 minutes. Within a few minutes he said we could not stay in the room and reception swiftly moved us to another room. The room was very comfortable and facilities in the room were excellent. Thank you to all the staff for dealing with the issue swiftly and professionally. All were very kind and nothing was any bother to them. The Marriott is centrally located with excellent parking & spa facilities too. I’m looking forward to my next stay.
