JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort is located a 15-minute drive from Khao Lak Town. Guests can reach Phuket International Airport with a 1.5 hours’ drive. I had breakfast at the Waterfront restaurant for the duration of my stay and it was first class service. Khun Pooh helped me feel very comfortable whilst traveling alone to the resort, all the staff knew my name and showed me around the buffet and the food was so fresh and locally grown so the vegetables had extra taste and there were many healthy options available, the fresh juices were equisite.

Set in Khao Lak, 25 km from Tsunami Memorial - Rue Tor 813, Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Among the various facilities are a terrace, a bar, as well as water sports facilities. The accommodation features a kids' club, room service and currency exchange for guests. Pool area was great along with access to the beach.

The accommodation offers a private beach area and a range of water sports facilities, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a kids' club and free WiFi. Everything was fantastic. The suite was clean, modern and spacious. The pool being over 2km, there was always a close entry and from anywhere in the resort. The beach was great, waves are small but still allow for boogie boarding or surfing. Supplying free rental on surf boards, boogie boards, kayak and paddle boards is a bonus. Staff is attentive always going out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.
