Ideally situated in the Chelsea district of New York, TownePlace Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan/Chelsea is situated less than 1 km from Flatiron Building, a 8-minute walk from Penn Station and 800 metres from Madison Square Garden. With a fitness centre, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We spent twelve nights, from November 24 to December 5, 2024, and we felt very comfortable, especially because we come to New York every year and have quite a bit of experience with hotels of this kind. The location is exceptional, just a few meters from the subway, and situated in a fairly central area like Chelsea, in the Flower District, it allows you to move around the city quickly and comfortably. The cleanliness of the rooms has been the best we’ve experienced in recent years—and there have been quite a few—so I would like to give special recognition to the staff at TownePlace for the excellent work they do, their dedication, and the care they put into their work. Regarding the problem with elevator waits that is frequently mentioned in reviews, as well as the issue with breakfast (included), we didn’t experience it. Not because it doesn’t exist—it does—but because we neutralized it by requesting a room on the lowest floor possible (we got the third floor), which allowed us to take the stairs up and down every day, avoiding waits. As for breakfast, on the first day, we went down to confirm that, indeed, there are endless lines, both to eat in the tiny dining room and to bring food up to the rooms. So, we simply went to nearby supermarkets to buy our own breakfast for the rest of the days, effectively neutralizing that problem as well. I think it’s a mistake to advertise breakfast as included in the price when it’s completely unfeasible and practically impossible to enjoy. Obviously, when on vacation, you don’t want to wake up at six in the morning to have breakfast, since that’s what we do every other day of the year. But even if you wake up early, having people standing next to your table, waiting in line, is not appropriate. If this same breakfast were charged at a reasonable price, it would be much better for both the hotel and the guests.

The hotel was beyond my expectations It’s new and modern and very very clean leave alone the location that is in a very very good street I would stay there whenever I am in New York City

Javits Convention Center. Had a great stay at Towneplace Suites, clean rooms, nice breakfast. Shout out to Rozina, who was very helpful with check in, check out, and was very accommodating! Will visit again.

All rooms are equipped with a desk, an iron with ironing board, flat-screen TV and a coffee maker. Some rooms offer a view of the city as well. The hotel is fantastic, staff very friendly, location the best, metro station is 2 min outside the hotel. Also there is a shop next door where u can buy food very convinient. Parking available nearby for 25$ per day, which the guy at the reception suggested me. Hotel is very clean. I would absolutely come back if I would go to New York again.

Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/ Chelsea is a 5 minute walk away from the Pennsylvania Amtrak Station. The hotel also provides complimentary WiFi, luggage storage and free access to an on-site fitness centre. Position was perfect, walking distance to MSG and subway.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, The cleanliness of the room was excellent , and the location was perfect, with easy access to key attractions and transportation.

The modern rooms at Courtyard New York Manhattan/Times Square include a flat-screen cable TV with HBO and an iPod docking station. There is also a tea/coffee maker, safe and work desk. Our room was cleaned everyday. Location is perfect, very convenient to many attractions and landmarks. Although we book for no breakfast, it was just alright since the hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and food outlets. We pretty much enjoyed our stay.
