CanadaLovely family run motel with spacious rooms, free parking, and an easy 20 min walk, or 3 min drive to the downtown area of Port Douglas. Lady at the front desk is especially lovely and made us feel extra welcome. Had everything you needed to cook a meal in the kitchenette in your room, including an electric pan that you can cook up a meal on, and utensils for cooking. Beach towels were free to use for the day and you could take them on your reef tour and return them when you were finished. DVDs were available to borrow at the front desk to use in your room which I thought was a very nice touch! Beds and pillows were super comfy. Location was quiet and tucked away from the main road. A/C was turned on for us before our arrival and did an excellent job.
