Motels in Tathra

The room was very small and had one bed when I had asked for two beds. There was no air conditioning and no mircrowave when it had been included in the run down of facilities with booking.com. Very basic room in the motel. The room that I had been promised was in the hotel, had two beds and was bigger.

The motel was in an excellent location. They have seemingly just been renovated as they were very clean, bright and modern rooms. Staff were lovely. Bathroom was very clean and plenty of space. The room also had heaps of power points!

Loved the location of the hotel and motel right near the end of the headland perched on the cliffs above the sea. The recent remodelling they have completed is above and beyond what we expected from the description and pictures we saw when we booked too. The food was excellent as was the beer from the on-site brewery, with a great selection of both food and drink available. The whole place felt like a real hub for the community and was a hive of activity when we arrived in the early evening, but was quiet enough at night.

The location is exceptional. We were bikepacking for the four previous days and the bed and view from the motel was amazing. The condition of the motel is average and is showing its age but you aren’t paying for the motel, but rather the location and view.

It was a great location and the hotel next door, which the motel is co-owned, is amazing! Unfortunately the booking information seemed to be part of the hotel.

Great spot, lovely old hotel with great food. I stayed in the motel which was very comfortable, loved the balcony.
