The Downtown Motel is an older 1980s style motel and is clean and comfortable with clean linen in the bathroom. there are limited facilities but a kettle and toaster and small fridge were in the room. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating and the whole experience was made easier by her assistance. Value for money.

Location was right on the harbour, good for walking, sitting enjoying the sunshine, close to cafes and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, heating was good and the balcony was nice to watch people in the park, jogging and walking dogs. Motel had a nice cafe downstairs which was really popular and a classy restaurant on site.

Motel was great, quiet, in a great location for our visit and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

Very close to be able to walk to places and beach. Free parking. Not too expensive. Nice towels.
