Motels in Waitomo Caves

Very unique location. We stayed in the Hobbiton cave unit. Beds are very comfortble, rooms are clean. If you want to experience something totally different from your 'standard' motel just do it!! If you are travelling with children they will totally love the unique room. (boat, airplane or hobbit cave)

It was nice and cozy, really appreciated that the heat was turned on before arrival. Motel close to all activities we wanted to do.

Novelty motel - we stayed in the Hobbit hole. Nice location. Easy walk to food and glow worm location (ticket purchase, not the actual cave location)

Staff were amazing facilities amazing the positive over all motels hotels I’ve stayed the room was stocked to suit a family eg towels all there clean . Coffee milk sugar hot choc etc amazing service one of the best I’ve been too

The difference of the location, it is exciting to stay in a boat or airplane for the experience in comparison to just a standard motel room

Interesting motel unit built like a hobbit hole. Nice area to sit outside in the evening sun. Surrounded by trees.
