The onsen is located in remote and quiet valley right below Yoshino village (the town reachable by a 15 min steep hike up). The tranquility and peace and beatiful nature was a miracle after busy, crowded and loud Osaka. The hot spring is small, very warm and very relaxing, especially after hiking. We really enjoyed it, together with delicious traditional breakfast and dinner. Really recommend this place, especially if you need to reset after visiting Osaka. It’s really easy to get from there too, as there is a train that goes directly to Yoshino from Osaka.

Oh my! The absolute best hotel we stayed at. The ryokan was absolute. Outside foot bath. Hot stone rest room. Onsen in and out real onsen (people go there more for that). The dinner was a poetry. All music to my ears. Absolute amazing place.

The whole stay was very relaxing. The staff made a lot of effort and were always helpful. We used the free shuttle service four times in total (from an to Hashimoto Station and from an to Koyasan area). It takes about 20 minutes by car from Hashimoto Station to get to the hotel. The breakfast was traditional Japanese and we enjoyed it very much. The quantity was more than sufficient and the food varied a little every day, which we really liked. The dinner was also very tasty. The size of the accommodation was more than sufficient and above average what we are used to in Japan. We lacked nothing.
