This was a great experience. The room was spacious and had a lake view. We arrived at the evening so we couldn't see it properly but had a great surprise when we woke up in the morning. Suwa was just a night stop for us, but hotel staff was great in recommending us what to eat and where to go in our very few hours.

Beautifully designed ryokan with comfortable rooms, lovely outdoor space and rooftop onsen. The staff were kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The food was delicious, prepared in your private dining room. We loved our stay!

Everything! The room we stayed at had a beautiful view of the lake. The onsen was wonderful. Sumire, the staff that served our dinner and breakfast was great and the food was both delicious and beautiful.

Awesome hot spring ! And best breakfast buffet ( huge !) I have had in Japan!

Just across the street from Lake Suwa, Hotel Saginoyu offers hot-spring baths, traditional multi-course dinners and a tea lounge.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our lack of japanese skills. Atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was included in the initial cost of the booking, and the quality of it was fantastic, doubly so considering it came at no extra charge. Location was also great, 5 minute walk to both the local station and convenience stores.

The room is by far the nicest room I've ever been in on travel. The hotel was clean and area is so beautiful around. By far my favorite hotel on my trip.
