The rooms were very spacious and we had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay at Sanage. We also enjoyed both the public and private onsens available at the hotel. I love the peaceful environment in and around the hotel grounds. There were some scenic spots for photo taking within the nearby grounds. There was a restaurant near the hotel that served a wide variety of food, and we enjoyed all of the several meals we had at this restaurant.

The hotel is ideally located in the downtown Nagoya, surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. I came here with 2 friends, all in our 20's. The onsen was very clean and relaxing. It was not very roomy but it wasn't a problem. It was pretty crowded with guests, but there was enough space for me. Even if you weren't to use the onsen, I think coming here is worth it. The breakfast was included with our room and that was our favorite part. There were various options and the food was restaurant quality. They provided robes and slippers. The wifi and air conditioning worked great, and the room was pretty spacious. We dropped our luggage off in the morning and came back later in the day. The staff was very friendly and helped us find good restaurants to eat at around the area. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance. I would come here again with my parents or someone I am trying to treat, but probably not with my friends if we were on a budget.

Room Initially, we were worried that the room had no windows since none were shown in the photos. However, there was actually a window, which could be uncovered by sliding a wooden panel, allowing natural light in. The room was very comfortable, beautifully designed, and had a spacious feel. We stayed for three nights. According to the hotel policy, cleaning is only done on the third day, while on the second day, fresh towels are provided. This was fine for us as we didn’t need daily cleaning. We stayed in a room with a ganbanyoku (hot stone bath), which was very relaxing. There was also a TV inside. Food You can order food through the TV in the room. We ordered dinner every night because the food was truly delicious and had great value for money. All meals come with room service, which is available 24 hours a day. Most items on the menu are also available late at night.

Max value next to the hotel is very convenient. We traveled by car so free car park was a plus and we did not care that it's a bit far from the city center.
