Yuze Hotel is gelegen in Kazuno, in de wijk Yuze Onsen. De ryokan met 4 sterren biedt een gedeelde lounge en heeft kamers met airconditioning, gratis WiFi, en een eigen badkamer. Onsen views were good and breakfast was great. Room was also spacious.

Ryumontei Chiba Ryokan ligt in Ōyu, op 26 km van Towada-meer, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een restaurant. Beautiful old style traditional ryokan, outdoor baths, good kaiseki in the room, good breakfast

Kashintei Shirahama bevindt zich in Senboku, op 15 km van warmwaterbron Nyuto en 49 km van station Morioka. The hotel is sparkling clean. Tatami floor throughout even inside the elevator. Comfortable beddings and very delicious dinner and breakfast. Private Onsen is a highlight for us.

Sun R ligt in Rokugō, op 18 km van treinstation Omagari, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. De accommodatie is rookvrij en is gelegen op 23 km van treinstation Kakunodate.

フォレスト倶楽部 田園 ligt op 10 km van treinstation Tazawako, en biedt accommodatie in Senboku met toegang tot een tuin, een barbecue, en een 24-uursreceptie. Prachtige omgeving‼️Het huis geeft uitzicht op het Tazawa meer.. Het huis zelf is ruim, deels Japanse stijl met een privé onsen waar wij dagelijks in lagen. Hele behulpzame en gastvrije gastheer en vrouw. Voor ons een onvergetelijke ervaring‼️👍

Yukemuri no Yado Inazumi Onsen heeft accommodatie in Yuzawa. Elke accommodatie bij de ryokan met 4 sterren heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en je hebt toegang tot het warmwaterbad. Top-tier luxury. This place is what you get when you give someone a very generous budget and ask them to dream up the most comfortable Ryokan they can think of. The whole place was in tatami mats and it was comfortable to walk about barefoot or with socks. The baths themselves were the best out of all the ryokans that I have tried. They offered a range of different shampoos and soaps, and multiple indoor and outdoor baths - ranging from stone/natural baths to wooden tubs. There is also a sauna and cold bath, and it is here that I discovered the adrenaline rush and relaxation that comes with alternating between a hot sauna and cold bath. There are also privates baths (yes there are two!) that are free for use, unlike other ryokans that charge you for them. There are free treats everywhere - ice pops and milk (my favourite!) at the baths, various snacks and drinks (coffee, various teas, vinegar drink and even beer and shochu!). Then at 10-10.30pm, you can get a bowl of ramen, with the Akita specialty: Fish Shottsuru. Best, most premium and complete bath amenities out of all the ryokans I have visited. They also have well-placed cold water dispenser and places where you can simply sit after your bath to enjoy the view. They also offer a "pillow library" where you can personally compare different types of pillows and choose the ones that you like best! Best facilities out of all the ryokans I've been to (perhaps to make up for the lack of things to do by way of local attractions and how isolated it is). There are traditional Japanese children's games, origami and even a quaint library. Layout of the room is great too - I like that there is a separate "reception" area where you can keep your bags and clothes separate from the main sleeping/living quarters. I also like the little table in front of the window - perfect for a quiet reflection.

Dormy Inn Akita is located opposite historical Senshu Park and is a 5-minute walk. from JR Akita Station is 8-minute walk. Free internet access and a public bath are provided. The location was good. Breakfast was very good.

Katakurinohana bevindt zich in Senboku, op 15 km van warmwaterbron Nyuto, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Beautiful hotel, beautiful location right across the street from the lake. All rooms have lake views, and the private onsen does as well. Sunsets from the private onsen, sunrises from our room - pure bliss. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. This is one of the places we will return to again!

Kyukamura Nyuto-Onsenkyo is gelegen op 18 km van treinstation Tazawako en 23 km van Tazawa-meer, en heeft kamers in Senboku. big room, very clean very good food & so varity of buffet

Hotel Plaza Annex Yokote is gelegen in Yokote, op 22 km van treinstation Omagari, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. This hotel is quite close to Yokote hotel, there’s a convenient store nearby about 3 mins walking. The hot spring is awesome, they even provide free noodles soup. The front desk staffs are friendly, I had a wonderful experience.
