Το Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring παρέχει δωμάτια σε Matsumoto κοντά σε Σταθμός Matsumoto και Κάστρο Matsumoto. Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and exceeded my expectations. It's a short walk from the train station (though it does mean it's a bit of a walk to the castle) and the whole place has a really relaxed and charming vibe. Value for money was great, and there are many things to like. Staff is friendly and I really liked the design and setup of the rooms. Then there is the nicely set up onsen on the top floor with an indoor and outdoor bath, as well as a sauna and cold plunge bath. On top of that, there is free ice cream, free yakult in the morning, free ramen in the evening (after 9:30 pm) and free drinks from 3 pm to midnight. Design of the place is very Japanese (shoes in locker at entry) and with all the perks included, we really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of restaurants at walking distance as well. Would return if in Matsumoto again.

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Excellent dinner, listed as buffet (with lot of variety and even lot of alcohol variety), good breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake from the lobby. Coffee machine and chocolates in the lobby. Parking. Large room. Good public onsen. Overwall one of the better hotels we stayed in in Japan.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. The hotel was wonderful from the very first moment. We arrived by car and found organized parking right in front of the hotel. The staff warmly welcomed us, took photos of us with the cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji, and then handled our luggage. Check-in was very clear and detailed, and our room had a stunning view of the lake and Fuji — absolutely beautiful! The location was excellent, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was both delicious and a memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and even felt a bit sad that we didn’t have an extra day there. Highly recommended!

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Amazing experience of a traditional ryokan. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. We stayed as a group of seven and everything was wonderful from start to finish. The kaiseki dinner course and breakfast were truly exceptional experiences — absolutely something everyone should try at least once. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the level of service was top-notch. I also noticed that assistance was available in several different languages, which was very impressive. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel also has an onsen, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. The building is historical, and the rooms are beautiful. The breakfast is a perfect Japanese experience. The staff are friendly, and have plenty of English to give useful advice.
