We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

The view of the Mt Fuji in the morning, the amusement park just a minute walk away, the baths next to the hotel, and the quality of the room. The buffet breakfast room in the morning as well with the views it gives, although it can get a bit crowded and noisy. I'd recommend to stay at least a few nights, depending on the weather, if you want to have the best views you can get. Restaurants within the hotel are also top notch.

Great view right in the room with most of Mt Fuji. Good balcony to sit on and enjoy the view. Could be a bit small for a family with some large luggage. Meals included in the price are Japanese style and good.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. I had a 2 night stay in Konanso. The staff is very welcoming and polite, maybe it helps that i speak Japanese. However, they also speak English. Rooms are spacious, clean and with wonderful views. There is a person in charge of your stay that will bring you dinner each night and ask if you need anything. Dinner served at the bedroom is delicious, and the onsen is gorgeous. Would recommend 10/10. Breakfast is also excellent, with western and japanese food.
