The beds are comfortable and the room is super good.

A recently renovated ryokan in Toyooka and within 2.8 km of Kinumaki Shrine, Kobayashiya -Kinosaki Onsen- features a garden, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. The 4-star ryokan has garden views and is 4.2 km from Seto Shrine. The ryokan offers a hot spring bath and a housekeeping service. The service was exceptional, the attention to detail the staff is unlike anything I have experienced before. I really recommend this Ryokan to anyone visiting Kinosakionsen. Enjoy!

Boasting an open-air hot springs bath and spacious garden, Arima Grand Hotel is located a 10-minute walk away from Arima Onsen Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Free private parking is also available on site. The entire property is non-smoking, while guests can smoke in the designated smoking area. The onsen/bath areas were very nice. Dinner was excellent. Room is spacious and comfortable.

Located a 5-minute taxi ride from Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station, Kobe Minato Onsen Ren boasts a variety of hot spring baths, a year-round hot spring outdoor pool, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and hot stone spa facilities. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and private parking is available on site at a fee. The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

Featuring an open-air bath, the 4-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a lift and luggage storage for guests. My expectations were exceeded! This Ryokan is absolutely beautiful and the onson is so wonderful. The food was superb as was the service. From check-in to the meal service, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and very well coordinated. The room was stunning - I stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was 5 star ( the suite is comparable to the 5 star hotels - no detail overlooked). I can’t wait to return!
