The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

The locals are friendly and kind, and will go to great efforts to ensure you enjoy Ibusuki. My host texted me with many great recommendations, and he responded quickly to all my questions. The apartment was very clean, had a calming aesthetic and a wonderful view of the ocean. You can rent a free bike very easily from the host and you'll have a great time exploring the immediate area. This place is specifically attractive to people who want to relax, enjoy scenery and participate in the culture of an ocean-side town. You will not regret booking a stay here.
