As many have mentioned, the rooms have a fake decoration window that lets a lot of light inside. The staff promptly helped us cover the window. The design of the room is also great. You have a separate toilet and sink from the shower.

Een absolute aanrader. Kamers zijn niet mega groot maar van alle gemakken voorzien, comfortabel en lekkere bedden.

There are lockers in the entrance for shoes. The rooms that we booked are suitable for 2-3 persons. The onsen was great and the sofas just outside!!! We tried the ramen which was good, the location is really great!!

WOW! Soraniwa is just an amazing hotel and may be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. If you are going to Kyoto, choose this hotel and you will not regret it. From the moment we checked in, we were treated like royalty. We booked a Precious Twin 3rd-4th floor with 2 twins pushed together. Maybe that is why we were given the VIP treatment. They guided us to a VIP desk, where we were seated and served tea with a sweet treat while the host checked us in. She also walked us to our room via a separate elevator. We were in awe of our beautiful, large room with its own onsen and balcony. The bar area was fully stocked with water, several beverages, and the most delicious cookies, all included in the rate and restocked every day. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I really enjoyed having a sitting area and the bathroom area was amazing. Felt so spoiled with the fancy bidet that operated on it’s own and never had to touch a single button (light, lid up and down, and flushing on its own!) Great shower that led to the onsen, that was always ready to use. You could open the sliding doors to the balcony or outside while in the onsen. On top of that, the hotel is in a fantastic location with the cute bridge to lead you to the Gion area, huge department store nearly across the street, and restaurants nearby. The hotel can give you a list of nearby restaurants, and one we loved was Kacto. We went there twice! We called the concierge for a recommendation, and she actually came to our room to help us, and the restaurant was amazing! They also suggested another restaurant near where we were going, and it was also amazing! Then there is the beautiful rooftop bar with the beautiful view and foot spring water! That was always such a treat to look toward Gion and the beautiful mountains, while relaxing and being spoiled with the service. I would give this hotel a 20 out of 10 if I could. I really hope to return with its beauty and out of this world custo

HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Spa ligt in Kyoto, op 8 minuten lopen van Kyoto International Manga Museum, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, privéparkeren, een tuin en... The hotel was AMAZING, the location, the rooms, the cleanliness, the people, the small city everything. A big thank you to everyone at the hotel. Kyoto is such a beautiful and very special place. We had an amazing time at the best country we have visited so far. The culture of Japanese people along with the delicious food is what we will have in our heart and memories forever!

Ryoso Chatani is gelegen in Kyoto, op minder dan 1 km van Tempel Sanzen-in, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. Het personeel was zo behulpzaam, je wordt goed verwend met halfpension. Een heerlijke authentieke kamer, een gedeelde onsen. Een prachtige omgeving. Echt de rust zelf.

Ons verblijf hier was van begin tot het einde perfect. Onze kamer had een prachtig uitzicht en was mooi traditioneel ingericht. De diners die we hier hadden waren heerlijk en bijzonder uitgebreid. Alle medewerkers uitzonderlijk vriendelijk. Met een speciale dank aan Mamata, waar we heel leuk contact mee hadden. We raden dit hotel heel erg aan!

Kyo Yunohana Resort Suisen is gelegen in Kameoka, op 14 km van Keirin-ji Temple en 14 km van Shinnan-ji Temple, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. My goodness, what a beautiful spot to stay. Everything was top notch, from the shuttle, to the staff, to the rooms, meals and amenities! I was a welcomed change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and area. The food prepared at dinner was almost too beautiful to eat, not to mention delicious! We had a private Onsen on our balcony and it was worth the extra money to be able to use it at our leisure. I cannot say enough about it. If given the opportunity, stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!
