I had a wonderful time thanks to the hospitality and amazing support from the hotel owner. He helped me with transfer from the station to the hotel and was incredibly welcoming. The breakfast was very good. I really enjoyed my time.

Traditional Japanese place with big rooms (we were 4 adults and we were perfectly comfortable). Bathrooms are shared but very clean. Ai (the host) was super nice and we had a great time. The position is perfect, the place is 1 min away from the ski rental shop and 5 min from the slopes. All the bars and restaurants are less than 5 min walk. If I come back I would stay here again. I totally recommend it.

Refre Hotel has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere!! They served a delicious and healthy breakfasts and even served made to order omelets. We enjoyed the onsen, and were very close to the ski rental shop just a few minutes walk away. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming!!

Myoko Ski Lodge, in Akakura Village bevindt zich in Myoko, op 34 km van Zenkō-ji Tempel en 36 km van station Nagano en biedt uitzicht op de bergen en gratis WiFi. It’s a happy place! Geoff and Tania ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the stay! They tried their best to pick us up from the train station even though there was a heavy snowfall on the night we arrived. All staffs were kind and friendly. Others who lived at the lodge were also very nice and sociable. I’m really glad to meet new friends from different parts of the world. Started the day with breakfast prepared by the team, then went snowboarding — ask Geoff to recommend ski areas if you’re unsure! Get into the onsen after a whole day of snow then head out to the village (about 7min walk) for dinner after — similarly, if you’re unsure where to eat, ask! Hang out at the common area to chill, chat, watch a movie, play games with affordable beers etc! Maximise your time here if you can! We were really sad to leave and wanted to stay an extra day.. ): till next time! Het Akakura Kanko Hotel ligt naast het skigebied Akakura Kanko en beschikt over een golfbaan, een tennisbaan en een spacentrum. The property is beautiful and well kept with a lovely open air onsen. The views are breathtaking! The breakfast buffet was over the top and the French restaurant was delicious! Complimentary afternoon snacks and drinks was an added bonus! The shuttle to and from the train station was a blessing and the staff was incredibly efficient and kind.
