The setting is stunning and very authentic — the hostess runs everything and is incredibly kind; she even made traditional Armenian gata for me. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and relaxing spots by the fire, the river, and on the veranda. The stars were beautiful at night. The cottages were clean, the bed comfortable, and we reached the place easily with a regular car.

Yura and his wife are amazing hosts. The place was very clean and warm, which is very good in the colder months. Yura also took us around to see some great sites around the area and also dropped us and picked us up after completing a hike about 30 minutes away. We also had meals prepared for us by his wife and they were absolutely delicious! We loved our stay!

He even offered to show us around Yeghegis the following day, despite having work commitments. This is not just a place to stay, it’s a place where you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
