The staff and owners were wonderful. It was a beautiful historic site so don't expect big and modern. It was clean and comfortable with lovely gardens with great bird watching and it was great value for money.

Set in a wonderful location, we were taken back by the quality and size of the place and the outlook. When we came back at night we saw all sorts of wildlife (one of the reasons for coming to Tasmania) and everything we could want was included. The lovely mix of old and new was set just right and we could want for nothing more.

    A beautiful place to finish our Tasmanian trip. Our family loved playing in the yard, eating apples from the apple trees, the well stocked kitchen and amazing breakfast ingredients provided by Amanda, a (small) bath for the kids, plenty of space for the kids to play in their bedroom, relaxing on the porch with freshly baked afternoon tea each day, washer, drier and clothesline to get some washing done, off-street shaded parking, the short walk to the local butcher, park and fabulous wine bar. Everything we needed!
