Dear Francine & Philippe, We wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional hospitality you extended to us during our recent stay in Aalst. From the moment we arrived, your warm welcome made us feel right at home. The apartment it is modern furnishings, sleek appliances, and impeccable taste truly made it a haven during our time in Aalst. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed, from the comfortable bed to the thoughtful extra touches throughout the space very well-equipped bathroom, and very good Wi-Fi. We found ourselves lacking nothing, as the apartment was equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location, too, was ideal. Being close to the city center allowed us to easily explore all that Aalst has to offer, while the tranquil garden provided a perfect retreat for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. From beginning to end, our experience was nothing short of exceptional, and we can confidently say that this was one of the best stays we've had, especially with my wife. We cherished every moment and left with fond memories, already dreaming of the possibility of returning in the future. Excellent house, great hosts, everything was just super. The house is simple, it is new, well built, and well equipped. Very calm surrounding - great for focusing on work or having a relaxed long weekend. It is located just a few meters from a railroad, but very little noise can be heard and only in mornings. The host speaks very good English, and they are very helpful to give tips about places around.

Host was very good, we arrived a little late due to a car breakdown but was greeted on arrival and shown to our room, host showed us the en suite and toilet and left us be. Room and en suite were very clean maybe immaculate with a great shower, everything seemed new.

As a Londoner accustomed to the city's constant buzz, my stay at La Maison de Nikolas in Oosterzele, Belgium, was a rejuvenating escape into tranquillity. Nestled amidst lush greenery, this charming retreat offered the perfect blend of comfort and nature. The apartment itself was spacious and impeccably maintained, featuring two cozy bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchenette. The highlight, however, was the private terrace overlooking a serene garden—ideal for morning coffees and evening relaxation. What truly set this place apart were the luxurious amenities. The outdoor swimming pool and the sauna provided a spa-like experience right at our doorstep. After days spent exploring nearby Ghent and Bruges, these facilities were a welcome indulgence. Speaking of location, La Maison de Nikolas is perfectly situated. Just a short drive from the historic cities of Ghent and Bruges, we found it easy to immerse ourselves in Belgian culture and cuisine before retreating to our peaceful haven. The electric bikes enabled us to explore the green neighbourhood as well. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction did not go unnoticed. In summary, La Maison de Nikolas offered a delightful contrast to city life—a place where one can unwind, recharge, and appreciate the simple pleasures of the countryside. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene getaway with easy access to Belgium's cultural gems.
