I travelled to Leuven for a conference, and M-Street art lodging was perfect for this. They have electronic check in, and everything is done via email. You get a code to enter the property and your room. You never have to interact with anyone. However, the staff are available by phone to help with any queries or issues. They also have lockers that you can use to store your luggage after checkout, but before you leave Leuven. These lockers are not suitable for large checked luggage, but the staff locked my bag away safely in another part of the hotel. The room itself was (surprisingly) spacious! Even for the location (amongst pubs and restaurants) the room was nice and quiet. The TVs in the rooms also have casting, so I was able to watch YouTube/Netflix when the rain dissuaded me from leaving. The wifi is also good, I never noticed any issues when using it. If I ever come back to Leuven, I will likely stay here again.

Hotel De Pastorij is situated in the heart of the university in Leuven, just across from the theology faculty. The rooms are lovely - we had stayed once before in a different room, so we had some comparison. Our room was very spacious, with good storage space, a nice bathroom, and sitting space and a desk as well as the bed, and a very silent fridge. The breakfast was good, with fresh orange juice and coffee, a good selection of fruits and berries and cereals and cheese and ham and bread. It is very quiet. There isn't a permanent reception but there was someone around most of the day, who was very friendly and helpful. Everywhere is beautifully decorated and there is a lovely atmosphere. Usually it is fully booked, so we were delighted to find a room there and whenever possible, we will always try to return.

Basically, everything was OK even too elegant and fancy for my liking. We were with bikes and there were bike stands in the underground parking (which was great). The location is excellent if you want to be near to the city centre.

Central location. Parking in private underground hotel car park. Short walk to the central market square. Nothing is too far away. Sensible shoes required as cobblestones surface. Breakfast was a choice of continental and/or cooked

Location was convenient to old town. Room is of good size with Jacuzzi which was great! Ample heating and onsite parking.

Beautiful hotel location. The elevator was temporarily not working and our room was in the attic. Please take into consideration that the parking lot is not at the hotel but a few meters away.
