The Refuge is in a lovely peaceful location with beautiful views across the St Lawrence. There’s a deck out front to relax and enjoy the views and listen to the rushing stream nearby. There’s also a fully enclosed BBQ area which is great in the evenings to avoid insect attacks. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery plus a decent range of cooking appliances. Jacques was lovely and gave us a very warm welcome and a very thorough run through of all the property’s features.

Very beautiful location, lovely chalet. We enjoyed our stay. The chalet was well equipped. The owners were very helpful. We can recommend the place. Very rare to find such a peaceful setting.

Good location, close to tourist attractions of the region. Very clean and well-equipped house. The owner was a very pleasant person and allowed us to drop off the luggage and pick up the keys slightly earlier, which I greatly appreciate!
