We discovered the hotel by chance, and it turns out it was such a gem. The room was so comfortable and cozy, clean and pretty, the hotel was in such a lovely location with a local flavor and in a historical building, which is something rare. I slept on one of the most comfortable beds I slept on in all hotels. The room has floor heating in the winter, which is such comfort. The staff were warm and helpful and welcoming. I'd definitely return and would recommend it to anyone.

Everything was really perfect. Fantastic, spatious room, extremely kind and helpful staff, and small touches like fruit platter or free ginger tea since I was coming down with cold. Spotlessly clean and excellent breakfast. I personally like Chinese breakfast, but there was also a broad choice for those preferring Western version.

Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10. The staff were very nice and it was quite a professional operation, quite clean too. I initially booked because of its convenience near the south station, but then came back so I could explore the south side of the city which was very nice as well. There’s a bit of a very small street food scene nearby which is nice.

The staff was fantastic. They anticipate our needs before we asked and they were most helpful, helping us to book didi. The hotel design was perfect for travellers. Well thought out design, having the sink separated from the bathroom. They also gave complimentary drinks and snacks from the mini bar. They supplied bottled water every time we went out. Location close to MRT, mini markets, eateries and bakeries.

Excellent location next to an area with restaurants and street food. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even they didn’t speak English. They used a translator and communication was ok. The room was extremely clean, tidy and comfortable and the accommodation included a nice breakfast
