We stayed a week at this small family run hostel 5km up the hill from Minca. The views are incredible. Many birds, including Toucans, can be viewed from the terrace. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom a bit of a squeeze. Very homely. Very tranquil. Jose and his family are extremely friendly and helpful and made our visit memorable. The meals are simple and varied. If you’re fit and enthusiastic there are several good trails further into the hills. The small pool is welcome after a hot day in the rainforest. Motorbike taxis are frequent to and from Minca. Highly recommended.

Wow what a place! The villa is beautiful, setting is amazing, saw one of the best sunsets here. Loved our room and the kitchen was well equipped to make a lovely meal. I would have stayed longer if we could have.

It’s a really beautiful luxury cabin, complete with kitchen, dining, living areas. All the tools to be able to cook. Potable water, games and a huge terrace to relax on. Staff are amazing! And only about 15mins downhill to the small village where there are loads of places to eat and drink!

We have had an exceptional stay in the dome hut. The place is remotely located, only to be reached by 4x4 or mototaxi, but this is also what makes it special. We enjoyed a jacuzzi under the starry sky only to be followed by a bonfire - all right in front of our dome hut. The sun rises right in front as well - no need even to get up to enjoy it right from the comfy bed. This place is a hidden gem and abaolutely marvelous. The pictures speak for itself.

A stay we will never forget! our room was outstanding and especially the outdoor bathroom made showering an unforgetable experience. The entire Lodge was built without using big machines and the creators used a lot of indigenious techniques. Amazing location very close to the center of Minca. All restaurants and cafes are within walking distance but there was no noise pollution and the hotel was very quiet and relaxing. There is also free parking across the street.

It is a new structure in a good location in the town, so you do not need a jeep type of car to get there. They have a parking place in site which is great, in the main road they will try to make you park in the paid parking lot but ignore it. It is next to a river, and the cafe/restaurant looked nice - although we could not have breakfast there because we left too early.

Beautiful location with views of Santa Marta and just a 5 minute walk to the Main Street with restaurants and shops. Host was extremely kind, responsive, and gave us an intro to all the key places to go in Minca. Facilities were simple but clean and quiet. Many cozy seating options in communal area including hammocks. There are a couple parking spots that a non 4WD car was able to make it to with careful driving

The hummingbirds were amazing. The pool was nice and it was really close to town. The parking was great and one of the few places you could arrive to Minca to by car without a 4x4.
