Forewarning: this is a farm offering authentic rustic experience, make sure this is what you are looking for. Spacious, clean house (rustic buildout), authentic local experience and connection with nature through lush vegetation, sightings and sounds from wildlife, bright stars in the sky, etc. Hosts working to enable all this and also serving tasty typical food (e. g. traditional soup from veal, increible). We appreciated the mosquito nets. A chance to socialize and learn about the lives of other travellers and of the hosts and other local people helping us with our travel. We found the location very strategic-allowing us to explore the nearby sights (Corcovado, Isla del Caño) and also continue our onward journey to Panama.

We had a very nice time at Morpho House. Due to a last minute cancellation, we had to reserve the house on the very day and Valeria was quick to respond. She also sent us all the useful information. Having been welcomed personally on arrival, we also had a personal check out. There is everything you need in the kitchen as well as a pleasant sitting area. Besides, the bathroom and bedroom are spacious. Altogether, a very comfortable house in a quiet area: we would strongly recommend staying there.

Great location on the way to Drake Bay. Nice an comfortable with AC in the whole house. Well equipped kitchen. But most of all, very lovely hosts who can even help with transportation to Drake Bay and tours.

Relaxing break away. Great stop if your wanting to visit the World Heritage Costarican Spheres. George was an excellent host, giving us loads of info regarding the various archaeological sites which were nearby. Accommodation was excellent. Huge comfy bed, huge bathroom, great kitchen and a balcony we used a lot watching the Macaws in the trees overlooking a beautiful valley. Accomm can comfortably fit 4. Valles of OSA is on top of a hill with a driveway about 30m and easily negotiable in an AWD. We ended up extending our stay to 2 nights. You won’t regret staying here, the views are amazing, hospitality that was extended to us was exceptional and it was definitely value for money. We loved our stay. Do yourself a favour and don’t go past this accommodation!

We stayed here as need a stop before going on to Drake. The staff & bbq were so lovely. the rooms perfect for a stop over & great to be in a local non tourist town in CR. Do try this place , super cute , great food - Top chef & again lovey staff.

Hotel Cocodrilo was everything i expected and more. Our room was upgraded upon arrival which was unexpected but very generous and appreciated. Unfortunately we only stayed very briefly as it was a quick turnaround in our travel plans between locations (Drake Bay and Montezuma). The pool was enjoyed by all as a different pace to the salty ocean waves. I basked in the glorious AC for a night as a respite from the fans and humidity. Stephany was an absolute wonderful host. I wish we were able to stay for breakfast, but the early morning coffee was much appreciated. You can walk from Sierpe (we did with fully loaded backpacks!) but the short taxi ride from the boat launch may appreciated. Bring cash to pay for your stay! If I ever return to CR and am down this way I would definitely stay here again no question.

Top top top hotel. Marc is a fantastic host. His place is amazing. The pool is something. So confortable, peaceful and relaxing in the middle of the jungle. We had the chance to see a monkey familly. We highly recommand Marc place. Thanks a lot.
