The hutch is quite luxurious, well above the standard of comparable places we had in Costa Rica. The balcony at the back of the house has splendid views with lots of birds and butterflies flying and buzzing around. Hosts (including the two dogs) are really nice and friendly.

We arrived at 3pm at the place appeared deserted we looked for 30 minutes trying to figure out how to check in. We finally left so we weren’t on the steep roads after dark.

Lili! She is amazing! She can organise all your tours and she is so smiley and lovely. She also does a fantastic breakfast included in the price. The rooms are small but have everything you need and given the price, they are great value. The house is only about 20 minutes walk outside town so it's easy to get to. The walk out of town is mostly downhill. You can drink the tap water here. The kitchen is great, fully equipped and with all equipment in good working order. Everything about our stay was perfect.

What a beautiful location! Wildlife everywhere. The villa's are new and beautiful on the inside. We had some trouble with the AC remotes but got helped quickly.

Room exeeded expectations, very clean, amazing bathroom (for Costa Rica standards), no suicide shower but normal one, also with great water pressure and warm water. Big beds, also suitable for bigger people. Great view from room. Host is very helpfull. We also ordered optional dinner, it turned out one of the best we had in Costa RIca.. Kudo's!

Great location just out of town in beautiful grounds. The host and his family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was basic but very clean and comfortable and a unique experience being in the trees

My wife and I experienced outstanding service and welcoming from owner Randall and staff, with good suggestions for local activities. The breakfast included in the rate was exceptional, with eggs, bread, home-made granola and marmalade, a plate of assorted fruit, and coffee. The attractive dining area looked out on the forested property. The room, which was accessible by car or a short walk from the restaurant, was well equipped, clean and attractive, with a small refrigerator and a fine view of the mountains from the porch (rooms 1-5).
