The information and help supplied before arrival was very useful in aiding us to plot our way there. The house has real character and made the time spent indoors nearly as engaging as the time spent outdoors. Some interesting innovation to provide modern facilities, particularly the bathroom, but it all worked very well. The location is excellent in that there are places to go, sights to see, things to do, food to sample all within easy striking distance. The setting of Dilsberg itself is superb: hilltop walled village with views down the Neckar River and narrow streets and paths to wander along. And then there is the food - a good restaurant in the heart of the village. It was indeed the special stay (or in my case, return) for which we had been hoping.

The hotel is run by very professional and friendly staff who were willing to even adapt my booking to suit changes in my schedule. It is ideally situated with easy access to the old city, and University Hospital. In a quiet area with good restaurant's and public transport. Easy accessible parking in close proximity to the hotel. Modern spacious rooms and lounge areas to just sit and enjoy a bottle of wine or work. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Europäischer Hof Heidelberg. The hotel perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort, and the rooms were immaculate and beautifully designed. I arrived in Heidelberg much earlier than planned, and the room was not ready yet. However, I was able to talk to the cleaning staff, who were super kind. They kept our luggage and managed to put it into our room safely. The owner of this property also communicates actively via text message.
