A nice and quiet place, a historic house with remaining original details, such as a skylight (you can read about the house and the whole street in the brochures at the house). Be sure to visit the nearby former granite mines (Natur- und Steinbruch- Lehrpfad Königshain). I was impressed with both the accommodation and the environment

The hosts were exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to assist with recommendations for local excursions and ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Having traveled to many places, I must say that my vacation at Villa Metschke stands out as one of the most memorable experiences. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Whether you're a couple, a family or traveling with children, there's something for everyone here. The location is also ideal for day trips to charming towns like Görlitz, Bad Muskau, Niesky, Bautzen and other picturesque spots in the Lusatian region.
