Susan and Wendy were super kind. We could pick fruits from their garden. The cabin is beautiful, well maintained and clean. Everything we needed for the stay was there. Calibishie is also a very nice small village with everything there whay you need.

A hidden gem in every sense, with the most incredible location—perched right above the ocean, giving you the feeling of being surrounded by the sea. Her genuine care and kindness feel like they belong to a bygone era. She was always attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The location is up a high ridge above the village of Calibishie. For the island, the settlement has a wide variety of interesting places to eat and drink and the hosts are happy to recommend their favourites. The room was very spacious and had a very genuine island feel with its furnishings and decorations. Breakfasts served outside in the garden (except when raining heavily) were always interesting with island fruits, juices, breads and jams with other goodies. As one expects in Dominica, the garden was lush with interesting plants and one feels safely integrated with the local community when staying here which was my main reason for choosing to stay here.
