A gem of a place. After months of travel we needed a nice place to stay for a while to recoup and have a break from hotels full of excited children and equally excited yapping dogs. La Capeline fulfilled this requirement and more. Everyone here from personnel to residents are welcoming and friendly despite our extremely limited French language skills. Lovely amenities and a dream to be able to swim in a super clean, quiet, swimming pool. If you're looking for a good base to explore Dunkirk away from the busy centre La Capeline is perfect. Secure designated parking and Lidl store opposite to make life even easier. Would recommend Domitys to anyone looking for self contained accommodation in a nice safe, quiet environment. Thank you to everyone at La Capeline for a great stay.

The friendly, cheerful welcome by the host, Claudine. The fun time we had chatting with Claudine via her smartphone and the voice translator. The amazing breakfast with local produce plus tasty homemade yoghurt, fruit juice and a variety of jams. The breakfast/lounge room, the bedroom and the bathroom - all very roomy and comfortable. I have stayed at 30 places through booking in the last two years. This one was by far the best. The owner was very helpful with booking e-bikes for tours in the area. He gave us useful tips for the trip. The apartment was well equipped with everything you might need, such as a toaster, kettle, coffee maker, hairdryer etc. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. The bedroom was perfectly dark for a quality sleep.
