First of all: the staff. Excellent relationship, excellent communication, prompt response to all of the queries. Secondly: cleanliness. Perfect. Third: quietness of the location: deafening quiet throughout our stay. Fourth: hotel’s position is closest to the heart of Dinan’s medieval centre. Great access (by our own car) to Mont Saint-Michel (easy 40 some km) and Saint Malo (30 some km). We really enjoyed our stay.

What a unique place to stay! The house dates from the 15th century and is literally on postcards of Dinan. The owners, Alina and Dominique, were wonderful, friendly hosts who brought us a delicious breakfast every morning and gave us plenty of tips on what to do in the area. They also happen to own Epicerie Fine Saint-Yves downstairs (which is where you should check in) and give all guests a discount on products. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a pleasure to wake up every morning in a historic neighborhood. The location is very central, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. (Tip if you have a rental car: the designated parking lot for guests is P0 at the Parking Centre Historique on Rue Victor Basch; we accidentally went to P1 at first, which is always full.)

The en-suite room was very well appointed, exceptionally clean and the decor exactly as shown in the photos. We were treated to a fantastic breakfast every morning and found Letitia to be a very warm, friendly and accommodating host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

    The property was clean and had everything you needed for the stay. Communication with Natalie was very good and we were welcomed by her on our arrival. The property is well situated for walking into Dinan and there were bars and restaurants in walking distance over looking the river. Plenty of space to park the car.

    The location just outside Dinan is great. The breakfasts tasty (fresh bread, homemade jams and yoghurts, muffins), comfy bed and large room and bathroom. Secure parking and lockable bike storage.
