The chateau is beautiful, photos do not do it justice. It is more impressive in real life. The building, the staircase, the grounds, all are beautiful. The rooms are very spacious. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. An atmosphere of calm prevails throughout. Old beautiful with modern amenities such as a reliable lift and efficient air conditioning and we were there on some very hot days. The parking is secure behind a security gate right next to the chateau. You can have breakfast outside in the beautiful grounds which is a lovely start to the day. It is a 12 minute walk at a slow pace as it was so hot into the old town of Samaur which was also perfect. Very helpful and friendly staff.

This was a beautiful house in a delightful garden. My room (Coriandre) and bathroom were in converted buildings adjacent to the main house and were extremely spacious and comfortable. The room was well equipped and included a kettle. There was somewhere secure to store my bicycle overnight. I slept very well and then enjoyed a lovely breakfast which included some delicious local cheese and tasty jams. The location in the town of Les Rosiers-sur-Loire is good - a short walk to the centre of the town and to the river. Odile was very welcoming and friendly.

Loved the cosy homely cabin vibe. Very well equipped kitchen. Air conditioning with hot or cold air. Coffee machine. Rural, remote setting in nature. Sun deck with seating outside. Friendly accommodating help host. Beautiful lake and woods to walk around opposite. Our son loved the peacock, chickens and sheep onsite Option for fabulous breakfast tray.
