What's not to love? A home in the country away from it all but with all mod cons and a great host. When the only criticism you can make of a place is that the mugs are a tad small (for a proper brew, maybe bring your own!), it tells you everything about how great this place is. Trawden's pretty good too! Hats off to Andrew for being an exceptional host :)

We had a lovely stay in the Hare and Hounds. The room is charming and has recently been redecorated. It's very tastefully decorated, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. The pub is also very nice, with a contemporary feel. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the pub, and we found both excellent. Staff is friendly, the service was good, and I would say both accommodation and food are very good value for money. The location is good, with parking at the front. We also found some nice paths to walk our dogs in the surroundings. The dog friendliness is very much appreciated by us dog owners! A big thank you to the team in the Hare and Hounds for their kindness, and warm and welcoming service.

Tracy is an exceptionally happy and welcoming hostess, I felt at home the moment she opened the door. The bedroom was beautiful and very clean with a beautiful view. The shower was brilliant. After a delicious breakfast I found it hard to leave :) Thank you, Tracy!

Couldn't fault this little Gem, and the Hosts were fabulous and so understanding. I have quite a few health issues and when I had a bad turn early on and struggled to make checkout they were so attentive to my needs, honestly I can't recommend this place enough. It's beautiful.

    It was 20 minutes from our friends house which was the point of the visit. Lovely decorated room and bathroom. Perfect size for myself, my husband and our black labrador. Very central in Colne. Plenty of parking available.

    Great communication from owners. Clear instructions on how to access the apartment. Easy to find, plus accessible parking nearby. Owners were really helpful and accommodating when asked if we could leave bags in the apartment whilst we got breakfasts. And responded to messages in good time. Would recommend for short stays.

    A spacious apartment, comfortable and well located for the dales and beautiful landscapes. The apartment has no kitchen but is next to Tubbs of Colne and we enjoyed a great meal there. The apartment is exceptional value for money. There was easy parking nearby. Check in was very easy and the host was very welcoming.

    Excellent location, free parking on road nearby. Owner very helpful from start. Comfortable bed, funky decor but in keeping with building. Well equipped for self catering , little extras too, very welcome. Some spatulas etc would be helpful or bring your own. Big TV in kitchen, one in main bedroom aswell as or instead would work well. Nice quality towels. Overall a really positive and enjoyable experience. Happy to return and recommend to anyone. Thank you

    Beautiful apartment, spacious, stylish & spotlessly clean. Central location to shops & bars & plenty of free parking close by. We ate at Tubbs of Colne which is the same owner & the food & service was great. Highly recommend, brilliant value for money.
