Breakfast was EXCELLENT! The bacon, sausages and eggs were fresh and local produce. The location is a small and very picturesque village and our beautifully decorated bedroom had a view of the downs and the White Horse. We are gluten and dairy free and this did not impede our choice of food at all. Little touches like gluten-free biscuits in the bedroom were especially appreciated! The landlady was very caring, capable and charming as was the waitress.

Our stay at Rook Lane was great, lovely comfortable room and right in the centre of the town. Claire was a lovely host, gave us suggestions on where to go and cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning

The Old Parlour barn was tastefully renovated. It was both cosy and spacious (good for two couples) and well heated. Everything was immaculately clean and in good working order. Location was great for our visits to Frome and Longleat. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Beautifully appointed and clean. A very well-stocked and well equipped kitchen with breakfast cereals etc provided. Fluffy white towels and lots of clean tea towels provided as well as hot water bottles, blankets, books and games. A fantastic selection of TV channels - as well as DVDs. Comfortable sofas and beds, plus a cosy wood burner in the living room. Great location very close to the town and the fantastic independent shops on Catherine Hill in Frome.

Staff were excellent, Rooms were lovely, they went above and beyond for a 70th Birthday, decorated the room with decorations that I had delivered to them. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and a nice atmosphere. Can't Recommend highly enough, Castello Restaurant 3 minutes walk was also excellent. Would Definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the team and good luck in the future.

    Beautiful cottage in the most beautiful settings. Lovely, picturesque cottage in beautiful Frome. We booked it because we needed to get to Centre Parcs, which is only 10 mins drive and 30 mins away from Bath. Great communication from the owner. The house was clean and very stylish. All facilities provided, inc acces to Netflix, fully equipped kitchen and free parking and the bedding smelled amazing. It would also be great for a family with children as its very child friendly. I would highly recommend this cottage.

    Lovely room spacious and quiet in a beautiful house very conveniently located close to the town centre with off street parking. Delicious breakfast comfortable room huge bed very clean. Absolutely nothing to fault wonderful hostess. The Sunday market in Frome is a must visit.

    Great, central location and arrived early enough to get secure parking in the hotel car park. All the staff we met were helpful, particularly Vicki and Wayne, and were up for a bit of light-hearted banter. My evening meal was very good. I had pork chop with spring onion and chorizo mash with an amazing pineapple chutney. I was looking forward to the highly acclaimed breakfast.

    Breakfast was delicious both mornings. We had traditional English breakfast first day & bacon & eggs second. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Becky who I spoke to on the phone before we arrived. Our room at the top of the property was cosy & warm on a very chilly (-3 degrees!) weekend! Car park was small but street parking also available. Water piping hot for shower. Hand wash smelt nice too!
