The quite area and the flexibility(Late arrival) and friendlieness of the staff. The Pod-room, and the shower- and bathroom is also very comfortable, clean and very nice, inclusive veranda. Everything(beautyfull villages, great landscape, gardens and interesting historical locations of british art(e.g.Victoria Wolf)) in the area is good reachable.

The breakfast was wonderful, plentiful, and lots of choice in a lovely sunroom. The hotel is set in a grand, picturesque location surrounded by fields within which is a lake, Beds are very comfortable with French doors opening onto a patio, looking across the fields. An 14th century church is in walking distance, and pleasant walks in the nearby wooded areas. Lovely part of the world, real England.

    The wifi was good. The room was reasonably clean. The huge, rusting van with a chimney parked under our window turned out NOT to be a meth lab (it just looked like it). Plenty of car parking (I'll let you to work out why).
