The cottage is beautiful - it's a heritage listed building that has been thoughtfully renovated. It's much larger than I expected - 2 double bedrooms with heaps of space around the beds; an upstairs toilet AND two bathrooms downstairs ; as well as a large kitchen, laundry area, lounge room and dining room. In addition, there was a ready-to-go hot tub in the back yard. What more could you want??? There was space to park the car in front of the cottage and of the road. The village was extremely quiet during the night too. All in all, this is a fabulous place for a holiday for two couples or a family.

The location and staff were exceptional. The caravan was clean, comfortable and very relaxing (best shower ever!!!! Was not expecting that!) also the lib next door was outstanding food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced (book ahead though as everyone knows how good they are).

Wow! I don’t know where to start. The private drive and bridge to access the lodge in the secluded and peaceful location. The fantastically equipped, beautifully furnished lodge! Not forgetting the hot tub!

Beautiful views over fields full of buttercups from the caravan window was instantly relaxing. Very clean and super comfy bed and pillows. Community feel, everyone was so friendly and wonderful walks for my doggy right from the site! I didn’t want to leave!

I got a very friendly greeting on my arrival, the owner showed me around and pointed out how everything worked, the central heating was on and everything you could want is here Towels, bedding, toiletries, coffee maker, kettle, pots pans cutlery etc even an air fryer. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, everything smells fresh, nice comfy sofas and beds too. The site is friendly and well kept, own parking spot right beside the Mobile Home, the site operates a quite a time between 10pm and 7am so its super quite. Would recommend and stay here again.

    Continental style breakfast was excellent' all facilities were provide within the room. The room was modern well furnished and clean. The location was ideal in a quiet countryside setting. Good car parking area in front of the property. The price was very reasonable, and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay hear again should we be in the Gloucester area

    rooms were spotless. Son loved the huge TV, chocolate cake and biscuits. Breakfast huge selection of cereal, yogurt, bread. Hosts very happy for us to eat in our room or eat as a family downstairs. Host very lovely people easy to chat with. House very clean and easy parking. Excellent

    The ample, easy car parking, the warm welcome, the beautiful bungalow, the lovely large bedroom, the facilities and the breakfast. Kim and Richard were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Hillvine is definitely the place to stay in the area. We considered ourselves fortunate is choosing to stay there and have no reservations about recommending Hillvine to others looking to stay in the area.
