Owner is there when you arrive, so so friendly and welcoming. Explains everything you need to know which is very quick and simple. There's bindersr explaining everything and labels on switches so you know what they all do. You get left to your own devices and you wouldn't know there was anyone next door but knowing they're there if you need help is amazing. It's so out of the way and peaceful, I'll definitely be back.

Absolutelly everything, the host was the most warm and attentive person. The whole place was impeccable, with all the amenities you could need and really comfortable. It is totally worth it even though it is a bit far away. Brenda, the host, makes you feel like a friend and makes your stay a great experience

A warm welcome awaits you at the Redgarth. The owner, Mr Stuart, goes that extra mile to make you feel at home. No complaints about the room. It was big and well appointed. We had a beautiful view over the Bennachie hills. The Redgarth is also a pub frequented by the locals and the food is very good and most ingredients are locally sourced. The fish and chips they serve was excellent. Breakfast is continental style with fresh fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese and bread and some pastries. Special mention for the very helpful staff.

Gardeners Cottage is a lovely, cosy place to stay. Quite literally home from home. Billy and Mandy were excellent hosts and would go above and beyond to help. Seggat was a great base for us to stay whilst exploring the Eastern coast of Scotland. From Pannan to Cullen - the Old Oak serves the best Cullen Skink ever! Delicious on the colder nights. Most places were a 30 to 40 minute drive. There is ample parking, everything works just fine, great enclosed back garden. Inside, there are two very roomy and comfortable bedrooms, slept extremely well! Surrounded by miles of farmland - it is a working farm but is very quiet. Plenty of firewood for the log fire, two bathrooms - one with bath and overhead shower, the other with a shower. Water pressure was great in both. We stayed there during Storm Babet and were cosy and safe! Would give our whole experience there (13 nights) a 10 out of 5! Thankyou Billy and Mandy, we had a fantastic stay.

This was the BEST bed and breakfast we've stayed at, by a long shot. It was spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities and so many extras. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, there was an awesome rain shower, and the host provided everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was delicious . The host was friendly and accommodating and we felt very welcome. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area. 5 stars from us.

    Friendly staff. Kitchen, enough choice for breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, ham, cheese and fruit juice. Good location for us as we attended a wedding 6 miles away. Although it was a room for the night, it was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Restaurant downstairs was great for when we arrived. Parking space. A lovely walk up Dunnideer Hill to old castle ruins.

    Cosy hotel in Insch. Our heater didn’t work so the owner updated us instantly. Martin the barman checked us in, showed us around and chatted with us at the bar. Free parking at the door. Yummy Indian right next door.

    This is a lovely hotel and ideal for our brief stay to visit family in Insch. The hotel is really comfortable and the hosts (Jackie and Colin) were so welcoming and kind. There was lots of parking spaces available. The continental breakfast was good and the dinner was lovely. Great shower! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!
